A steel enclosure for building a 16S 48V (51.2V nominal) LiFePO4 battery from sixteen 280Ah to 330Ah prismatic cells. The cells sit in two rows of eight. The front panel carries dual positive and negative terminal posts, a display window, a breaker cutout and the communication ports, so the finished pack connects to an inverter like a commercial rack battery.
Order the empty box if you already have a BMS you want to use, or the full kit with a JK inverter BMS, display and breaker pre-fitted to the panel. Cells are sold separately.

Key features
- Inverter communication. The JK inverter BMS talks to most popular hybrid inverters over CAN or RS485, so the inverter can follow the battery's state of charge and charge limits.
- Active balancing. The JK BMS includes a built-in active balancer that moves charge between cells instead of only bleeding it off as heat.
- Dual terminals. Two positive and two negative posts let you run two cable sets to the inverter, or parallel a second battery.
- Stackable. The flat lid and corner design let you stack boxes to build a larger bank.
Inverter compatibility (full kit)
The JK PB2A16S20P BMS has a selectable inverter protocol on its CAN port and on its RS485 port. Set the matching protocol in the BMS (on the display or in the JK app), select the matching lithium battery type on the inverter, and connect with the RJ45 cable your inverter's manual specifies.
