Tip: Most builds use terminal busbars for series connections and center tap busbars for accessing the midpoint between cells.

Common Configurations

Each module is ~7.3V nominal. Combine in series for common system voltages:

  • 48V system: 7 modules → ~51V
  • 24V system: 3–4 modules → ~22–29V
    Note: 4 modules can be high for some 24V inverters at full charge.
  • EV packs:
    • 48 modules → ~360–400V (stock Leaf)
    • 54–60 modules → 400V+ (custom builds)
  • Other systems:
    • 12–16 modules → 96–120V (motorcycles, boats, small EVs)

This makes LEAF modules a flexible option for off-grid solar and energy storage systems.
