NFPP-based sodium-ion cells are emerging as a serious alternative to lithium-iron phosphate (LFP), especially for applications where safety, cycle life, and cold weather performance matter most. These prismatic cells feature no lithium, cobalt, or nickel—relying instead on sodium and iron phosphate chemistry that is more abundant, sustainable, and thermally stable.
While the energy density is slightly lower than lithium-based cells, the benefits in fire safety, low-temperature operation, and long cycle life make these a powerful choice for stationary storage systems like off-grid solar, commercial BESS, and backup power systems.
