What we set for you

We set the pack capacity and check every cutoff on our bench. Want different limits (90% charge for longer life, a higher low cutoff)? Add a note at checkout.

The hardware: JK PB2A16S20P

This is the JK PB2A16S20P from JK BMS (Jikong), the smart BMS most DIY Solar Forum builders now use. We buy it direct from the factory, set it up for LFP, and test it on our bench in Michigan before it ships.

• Closed loop: CAN and RS485 to the inverter, with protocols for Victron, Deye, Growatt, GoodWe, SMA, Sofar, SRNE, Voltronic, INVT, Must and Pylontech
• Second RS485 port to link packs in parallel, DIP address switch (0–15), 2 dry contacts
• Heater control output for cold-climate packs, discharge precharge, charge current limiting
• Bluetooth app and UART · 20–70 V operating range
• Board size 300 × 100 × 24 mm

Closed loop: send us your inverter model and we set the protocol and baud rate before it ships.
